About Leif Reigstad

I'm a freelance journalist based in Austin, Texas. I was an associate editor at Texas Monthly, and my work has also appeared in The Nation, the Houston Press, the Huffington Post, Splinter, and the Washington Post. I earned a master's degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in 2015, and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from SUNY Buffalo State College in 2014. I am a proud native of Buffalo, New York.
